I have a teen in my youth group that really wants to stay behind on Wednesday nights to play Volleyball or whatever game we are playing, but he can't. The problem is this, he is having problems with his grades in school. So I have offered to help him by doing whatever he needs. I'm going to try to keep him accountable with his homework, and stuff like that, but there are things I don't know how to do. He is having trouble in 2 subjects: Language Arts [mostly his spelling] and Math [not a strong suit of mine.] So I am asking you education professionals out there to give me some advice. I will take anything. Hope everyone has a good one. ***EDIT*** Are there any good study strategies you know of for 9th grade guys?? Thanks

I heard Will Smith while I was scanning radio stations. Reminds me of the times of riding in Jon's truck, down the streets of Cedarville. Good times.

So this has been an interesting week...long but interesting. Winter Camp was great!! Tons of fun in the snow. Then on Friday we had a Vendor for the Plumbing Department come in hammered and passed out in the break room. He told 2 of my co workers he had been partying too much the night before and thats why he was asleep on the table. My manager came in and told him if he wasn't feeling good he should go home. He then decided to go back to work. He found his way back to recieving and no one really cared until the managers, and pretty much everyone in the store was looking for him. After an hour we found him asleep on the cement floor in between refrigerators. My manager came back again and took a picture of him with his phone and told him to leave. The vendor went back to HR and called his boss and threatened a lawsuit against my manager for harassment. Good times.
